Surry Arts Council

  • The Surry Arts Council provides opportunities for everyone in our community to have high-quality experiences in performing and visual arts, while ensuring continuity through financially responsible leadership.

    As a performing arts organization serving Surry County, North Carolina, we host or present over 500 events annually, including live theatre, concerts, traditional music classes, performing arts workshops, movies, and many other arts programs and festivals.

    Our performing arts venues include The Andy Griffith Playhouse, Historic Earle Theatre, Blackmon Amphitheatre, Arts Center, and Andy Griffith Museum Theatre. We are also home to the Andy Griffith Museum, Siamese Twins Exhibit and Old-Time Music Heritage Hall.

    We are a non-profit organization. Donations are always welcome and are tax-deductable.
