Reminiscent of movie houses from the 1930’s, the Historic Earle Theatre movies include first run, subrun, classics, free family films, and movies during special events including Comicon.

The Historic Earle Theatre is a site of one of the premieres of Gone With the Wind in 1939 and of A Face in the Crowd in 1957. Andy Griffith was in town for the premiere and the town celebrated “Andy Day” with a parade. He also attended movies here as a child. Join us for a movie in this nostalgic venue – you can even enjoy a romantic evening in the balcony. So many memories!
